With their debut mini-album, Yes, offence, due for release on April 28^th, 2022, Shelf Lives have treated us to a new single in the form of ‘Shock Horror’. The South London-based duo have been combining electronic sounds and punk energy for a little while now, with this year set to be their biggest yet. “’Shock Horror’ is an homage to our worst nightmare of a human,” they explain. “An amalgamation of specific traits that are so transparent yet irresistible, in a way.” Musically, this is a track filled with attitude, with harsh timbres and insistent rhythms forming a unique trash-pop-post-punk sound.
